Riot gear is primarily used during riot control operations, offering personal protection for officers handling violent individuals. It can effectively shield the wearer against attacks from sharp weapons, clubs, and projectiles aimed at the majority of the body, especially key areas. Moreover, riot gear is characterized by its ease and freedom of movement, short dressing time, and portability.

The gear is designed to fit individuals between 165cm and 185cm in height, and it comes in one size. Users can adjust the connecting straps according to their own height. The riot gear should be easy to put on and take off, and it should not significantly limit the free movement of the wearer's arms or restrict actions such as kneeling, jumping, squatting, running, bending, and turning.
- The protective layers for the chest, back, and limbs are manufactured using engineering plastic molded armor and soft energy-absorbing materials, while the shield is made using a 2.0mm thick whole aluminum plate and foam.

Belt strength＞2000N; - Stab resistance: The chest, back, and crotch of the riot suit (excluding seams) should not be pierced when vertically stabbed with a standard test knife as prescribed by GA68-2008 at 20J kinetic energy.
- The continued burning time on the surface of the protective parts after combustion should be less than or equal to 10s.
- Impact resistance test: Place any protective part of the riot suit on a rigid flat surface for a 120J energy impact, and the corresponding parts should not break or crack.
- Energy absorption performance test: Place the chest and back of the riot suit on standard clay separately and impact with 100J of energy, the clay indentation depth should not exceed 20mm.
- High and low temperature performance: The riot suit should be placed in a constant temperature box at high temperature +55℃±2℃ - low temperature -20±2℃ for 4 hours, and the stab resistance performance should meet the requirement after the test.
